West Virginia (WOAY)- All northbound lanes and one southbound lane are open on the Turnpike following an early morning tractor-trailer crash that stopped traffic for several hours.
At around midnight on Thursday, April 17, a tractor-trailer heading north on the Turnpike rolled over at mile marker 66 near Mahan and spilled its cargo of heavy plastic pipe into the southbound lanes.
Two tractor-trailers heading south hit the pipes and also crashed and burst into flames.
The tractor-trailer fire sparked a nearby brush fire.
Local firefighters took several hours to extinguish the flames.
No one was injured in the crashes.
Three vehicles suffered damage.
