Red Morning Sky Alert For Wednesday; Changeable Thanksgiving Forecast

Most of you will wake up to a red sky Wednesday as a storm system is brewing to the west. A changeable pattern on Thanksgiving Day equals rain, wind and a chill.

SHORT-TERM: The clear sky Tuesday night will fade to a red sky at daybreak Wednesday as clouds lower and thicken, especially across the Ohio Valley. The day will be dry and cloudy and then rain will develop between Midnight and 3 a.m. Thursday.

THANKSGIVING: Rain and fog (Greenbrier Valley) will greet travelers in the morning prior to 11 a.m. Visibility will drop below one-half mile between 6-9 a.m. Then, the wind will pick up, temperatures will drop and the rain will give way to one or two breaks in the clouds in the Greenbrier Valley, but cloudy with spotty showers along Route 19. Temperatures will drop into the 30s with wind chills in the 20s.
