Raleigh County, WV (WOAY)- The Raleigh County Planning Commission is inviting the public to share their thoughts on the future of the county through a series of open house workshops.
The meetings are part of a major update to the county’s comprehensive plan, a roadmap designed to guide future growth and investment.
The plan will help identify key priorities and recommend specific projects that reflect the community’s vision.
Public input is critical, and the commission encourages residents from all communities to participate.
The open house format allows attendees to stop by at their convenience, ask questions, and provide feedback.
Two sessions are scheduled for Monday, June 2.
The first will be held at Liberty High School from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
The second will follow at the Raleigh County Courthouse, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.
A third open house will take place on Tuesday, June 3, at Shady Spring High School, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.
