Sophia, WV (WOAY) Raleigh County deputies arrested a man on outstanding warrants after responding to a domestic incident.
Sheriff Frank Priddy says deputies were called to the Sophia area on April 3.
While on the way, they learned the suspect, identified as 46-year-old Michael Wood, had active warrants out of Fayette County.
During the investigation, deputies located and arrested Wood on charges including felony escape and a circuit court capias.
Sheriff Priddy and Chief Deputy Frankie Shelton commend Corporal R. McDaniel and Deputy H. Lundy for their work in making the arrest.
