Rain Starts Later Today; Continues into Next Week

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Today will be the start of another wet streak with showers and a couple rumbles of thunder developing in the evening and nighttime hours tonight. These showers will be isolated in nature, so some areas may not see rain at all until Friday. Meteorologist Christian Boteler has the full forecast:

Tomorrow will bring more widespread showers and storms as a stationary front will park itself in the Great Lakes region for the day. Some of these storms will be strong, with isolated severe storms as well. Damaging winds are the main concern, though hail is a possibility as well. Flooding and tornadoes are not likely with these storms at this time. The stormy weather continues into Saturday as the front finally passes through the region as a cold front. Here’s the severe weather outlook for tomorrow:

Sunday and the start of next week will continue to see rainy weather as showers linger during the second half of the weekend and isolated showers develop on Monday. Monday will be mostly dry with partly sunny skies, but the off-chance showers will affect some areas. Tuesday will be the last wet day before a break as a second system quickly makes its way through the region with more storms and showers. Wednesday will finally be dry as high pressure quickly pushes the passing system away. Here’s your 7-Day Forecast:
