Beckley, WV (WOAY) The New River Gorge Regional Development Authority (NRGRDA) is inviting the public to an open house and ribbon-cutting for the new Pattern Textile Training and Manufacturing Center.
Organizers say that Pattern is focused on growing Southern West Virginia’s cut-and-sew industry by providing training and resources for local makers and businesses.
The open house event begins at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 21, at the United Bank building on Main Street.
Tours and a hands-on sewing workshop will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The workshop is free, but online registration is required.
