Bluefield, WV (WOAY)- New River Community and Technical College is offering a free six-week certified nursing assistant class at its Bluefield campus.
The course will feature in-person lectures, a lab, and a clinical component, providing comprehensive training for aspiring nursing assistants.
The class will start on August 28 and be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
This class is open to everyone, including students, employees, and community members interested in pursuing a career in nursing.
Students will only pay fees for background testing.
Anyone interested in taking the class must register by August 16.
