Lewisburg has been recognized as the best small town food scene by USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards

Greenbrier County, WV (WOAY) – A town in southern West Virginia is once again getting high marks in a national publication.

For the fourth year in a row, Lewisburg, West Virginia, has been recognized as the best small town food scene by USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

According to the publication, restaurant selection in the town of Lewisburg has experienced a major boom over the past 20 years.

The town stacks the deck with more than 15 locally owned restaurants and cafes, each bringing its own flair when it comes to food choices.

In a statement, Kara Dense, the president and CEO of Experience Greenbrier Valley, said, “We’re thrilled to see Lewisburg take this title for the fourth year in a row. The wide variety of restaurants offers locals and visitors options for a great meal on any day of the week.”

Lewisburg was chosen by a panel of experts, USA Today editors, and contributors.

Over 20 small towns across the United States were nominated for the award. Voting took place throughout the month of March.
