Kanawha County, WV (WOAY) – The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help from the public in a homicide investigation.
According to a media release, on April 15, 2025, human remains were discovered on Walnut Gap Road in Charleston, West Virginia. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office later identified the remains as Leonard Pierre Jackson, a resident of Dundee, Michigan.
Mr. Jackson had previously been reported missing to the Charleston Police Department on March 26, 2025.
Deputies are seeking information from anyone who may have seen Mr. Jackson in the Kanawha County area during the month of March 2025.
