Football Friday Forecast:Â Compared to the recent Football Friday’s across the Mountain State, this one looks to be excellent for late October standards. With high pressure in place, a beautiful evening is in store. Although a few clouds are expected throughout the day, dry conditions are a guarantee. Mid 60s just in time for kickoff with temperatures not budging too much by halftime.
Saturday & Sunday:Â The calm weather from Friday will carry right into Saturday, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures remaining in the mid 70s. Enjoy because rain chances will increase Sunday, thanks to a strong cold front pushing into the area. Temperatures will cool into the 60s during this time.
Monday Into Halloween:Â Lingering showers will continue throughout the day on Monday. Cumulative rainfall totals will approach around a half-inch across southern West Virginia, with no flooding expected. Behind the front, temperatures will drop significantly leaving for a cold, but dry Halloween. High temperatures will only reach the upper 40s Tuesday into Wednesday, with nighttime lows dropping into the upper 20s to low 30s!
