It has been a tremendous Sunday across Southern West Virginia. Dry weather continues to pour into our region after a very wet couple past weeks and that dry weather looks to continue through the majority of this coming week. As we head from Monday through Wednesday, we appear to be under mostly sunny skies with clouds increasing slightly on Wednesday. The rain potential does come back on Thursday, but is trending slightly less than it was a few days ago. A 40% chance of showers with not much accumulation as you see the GFS rainfall totals holding nearly everyone below a tenth of an inch of rain.
Overall, this week looks about as picture perfect as you can get with a taste of chilly fall mornings from the mid 50’s to lower 60’s and high temperatures sitting in the lower 80’s region wide. Fabulous Football Friday appears dry for most, again only a few models show shower activity and it is mainly confined to the southernmost parts of our area near Virginia. Clouds will start to become even less from Friday heading through Saturday with a perfect perfect weekend looking very possible ahead.
