Greenbrier County, WV (WOAY)—The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s SWAT team conducted a search warrant on behalf of the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, which led to two drug arrests.
According to an official press release from the sheriff’s department, authorities obtained the warrant following a joint investigation by the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, West Virginia State Police, and Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities executed the search on April 8 at a Quinwood residence, which resulted in the arrest of 34-year-old Justin Rich, who had outstanding warrants for the delivery of a controlled substance.
Information discovered in that search led to a second search warrant for an Orient Hill address, resulting in the arrest of 49-year-old Ellis Wilson.
Wilson faces charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and prohibited possession of a firearm.
Both men await further court proceedings in Southern Regional Jail.
