Governor Justice announced Game Changer program

CHARLESTON, WV (WOAY) -Governor Jim Justice announced the Game Changer Program that will begin this fall.

The program is aimed at the issues of opioid and substance abuse among other things with children in West Virginia. The program plans to hold virtual summits around the state this fall to raise awareness on the upcoming programs that will be a part of Game Changer.
“It’s aimed at addressing not only opioid and substance abuse in West Virginia, but also issues like vaping, tobacco, alcohol use, teenage suicide, and more,” Governor Justice said. “At the end of the day the goal is to absolutely do all we possibly can to make life better for our children and absolutely for their parents and on and on.”
