WOAY – The West Virginia Golf Association announced its 2018 schedule, and the Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels will be hosting the 85th West Virginia Open next July.
The resort’s Cobb Course was the site of the WV Amateur this past June, but that event will be returning to the Greenbrier Resort after it had to be moved due to the floods. Qualifying dates for both events are yet to be determined. Glade Springs will also host the Parent-Child Championship June 23-24.
Additional events that are set include the Junior Match Play Championship (Parkersburg Country Club), Senior Open (Bridgeport Country Club), Women’s Amateur (Parkersburg Country Club), Mid-Amateur (Pete Dye Golf Club), and Senior Amateur (Edgewood Country Club).
