Greenbrier County, WV (WOAY) – Senator Jim Justice has welcomed the Iraqi national soccer team to the Greenbrier ahead of the World Cup kicking off this month.
The team is staying and training at the Greenbrier Sports Performance Center.
It’ll serve as the team’s headquarters ahead of matches in Foxborough, Philadelphia, and Toronto.
Senator Justice said West Virginia is incredibly welcoming and knows that the team from Iraq will see the best of the state
