Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) – A WVU legend was honored today.
Pat White, considered by many as the greatest mountaineer football player, will have his number five jersey retired this fall.
Born in Daphne, Alabama, White set 19 records during his tenure as West Virginia’s quarterback.
He won thirty-five games and finished as the all-time rushing quarterback.
