Charleston, WV (WOAY) – Check out highlights from Wednesday’s Class AAA quarterfinal between Woodrow Wilson & Parkersburg South.
The Patriots used early momentum to lead 30-15 at halftime, but Woodrow Wilson was able to trim the deficit, before Parkersburg South made plays in the final quarter to win 55-50. Devin Hefner led all players with 27 points.
Elizabeth Cadle was the Flying Eagles’ leading scorer with 16 points, while Sydni Darden and Victoria Staunton each had 10 points; Staunton recorded a double-double with 15 rebounds.
Woodrow Wilson finishes the season 14-11.
