FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – Fayette County schools have released its proposed calendar for the 2024-2025 school year.
The proposal lists August 15 as the tentative first day of school. The last day is set for May 28.
The calendar proposes that Fayette County schools be closed on November 5 for election day. Christmas break is scheduled to begin on December 19.
