WOAY – When the pandemic began, spring high school athletes across the country lost their senior seasons. Epling Stadium and the West Virginia Miners have been doing their part to make up for that loss, creating the Upper Deck High School League this summer.
They are going even further by putting together an All-Star game for area 2020 seniors baseball players.
The game will take place on August 15, one week after the conclusion of the stadium’s summer high school league.
All recently graduated baseball players can participate in the showcase. To register to play or volunteer to help organize the event, call the Miners office at 304-252-7233.
