Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia University baseball season has come to an end after the Mountaineers fell to the University of North Carolina this afternoon.
The final score was UNC 12 – WVU 7.
A Five-run rally for the Mountaineers in the seventh inning was too little too late.
It was a wildly successful season, marking west Virginia’s first appearance in the College Baseball World Series.
