Today will be a fairly cold day as temperatures should stay below freezing, but as we head into the weekend we are tracking yet another system for our region. With temperatures in the 40’s however, this system should bring us mainly rain if it impacts us at all. Weather models are still very disagreeable in what impacts this system will bring to southern West Virginia as some models have it to our south, while others have it coming through our counties. They are coming together enough though, that I can warrant a 30% chance of showers impacting our region on Saturday, mainly south.

The rainfall from this system won’t be that impactful, with everyone likely staying under a half inch of rain, and this graphic goes through the next 7 days. That would also include a little system we are watching Wednesday, which looks to bring the same, if not a little more rain than what comes through on Saturday.
Taking a full look at that 7 day forecast however, temperatures will rebound a little as we head into the weekend. Friday looks to dry out before that system on Saturday. Sunday-Tuesday look to bring plenty of sun, while temperatures look to reach 50 by Tuesday. Once we hit Wednesday, we are tracking another potential system to impact our area, including a 30% chance of rain for that right now as well. Temperatures also continue to rise into the low to even mid 50’s for some of us!
