Crisp Fall Temperatures Give Way to Opposite End of The Spectrum

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Following low 70s and sunshine today, tonight will be the coldest of the week with a pinch of frost in western Pocahontas and Greenbrier County.

OVERALL WEATHER PATTERN: The drought will continue full-throttle through the next week with no rain expected until midweek as a front approaches. The tropics are quiet for the time being as well. The Canadian high pressure will push off the coast and allow the Texas heat ridge to expand into our region this weekend and next week. The return of 90-degree weather is in the cards for southern West Virginia.
