CPSC warns of infant swing death and injury risk

West Virginia (CNN)—The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning people to stop using “Queerick” infant swings because they are a suffocation hazard.

The commission says the swings can cause serious injury or death.

The product is marketed for infant sleep.

However, the CPSC says the angle is greater than 10 degrees, violating the Safe Sleep for Babies Act and the Federal Infant Sleep Products rule.

The commission also says the swings fail to meet mandatory warning requirements for infant swings.

CPSC has issued a notice of violation to the seller in China.

The items were sold online at Amazon from October 2023 through November 2024, with model number “WHSB18.”
