Congresswoman Carol Miller held round table to discuss ways to strengthen the economy and boost tourism

LANSING, WV (WOAY) – Congresswoman Carol Miller held a tourism round table at Adventures on the Gorge with business leaders and local officials to discuss the impacts of COVID-19 and ways to strengthen the economy and boost tourism.  

Congresswoman Carol Miller is spending the week traveling around West Virginia focusing on how to revitalize and rebuild the economy. The round table conversation centered around infrastructure improvements, job creation and increasing trade for outdoors recreation economy to create jobs.

“We talked about vision and making this a national park and where that is at the moment and how much it will help West Virginia as a whole,” said Miller. “Once we are a designated national park people are going to come from everywhere we are six hours from half the population.”
