Monroe County, WV (WOAY) Monroe County families can get ready for the new school year while connecting with several free resources.
A back-to-school health fair is happening this evening from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the James Monroe High School campus.
Families can get information about available community resources, along with free vision screenings, immunization checks, voter registration, haircuts, food, and backpacks filled with school supplies.
There will also be drawings for 6 tablets, with a big-screen t-v as the grand prize.
A blood drive will run from noon until 6:00 p.m.
Mammogram screenings will also be available by appointment.
