Concord University Board approves zero percent tuition increase for 2025-2026

Athens, WV (WOAY) – Good news for students at Concord University!

Tuition is staying exactly where it is.

At its April 15 meeting, the university’s Board of Governors approved a 0% tuition increase, aiming to ease financial pressure on students as the cost of living continues to rise.

Current University President Kendra Boggess says the move reflects Concord’s commitment to making higher education accessible.

At the same time, CFO Kelly Bennington noted that the decision helps the school stay competitive without increasing costs.

Concord has also raised over $4 million in scholarships in recent years and continues to offer programs like CU Free for eligible West Virginia students, helping many attend tuition-free.
