A mobile unit is returning to Fayette County to connect you and your family with crucial resources.
The Beckley Vet Center will be stationed in the parking lot of the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, May 13, from 10:00 am to noon.
The center provides free, confidential help for Veterans, service members, and their families in a non-medical setting.
Services include counseling for depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma.
The center also assists with accessing support from the Department of Veterans Affairs and connects attendees with available community resources.
Claim specialist Bill Elkins from the Disabled American Veterans Association will be on the scene assisting with claims.
If you arrive hungry, you will leave happy, as there will be free BBQ.
