Beckley, WV (WOAY) Raleigh County educators with innovative classroom ideas will soon have an opportunity to receive funding to bring those projects to life.
The Beckley Area Foundation is accepting applications for its Students First Grant Program beginning August 20.
The program awards up to $750 per project to support creative instructional initiatives that directly benefit Raleigh County students.
Pre-K through 12th grade teachers in Raleigh County are eligible to apply.
Projects must focus on innovative classroom instruction and have a direct impact on student learning.
Applications will be accepted through September 20 at 11:59 p.m.
Teachers can learn more and apply starting August 20th through the Beckley Area Foundation at bafwv.org.
