Beckley, WV (WOAY) A free training opportunity is coming to Beckley this week, and it’s open to the public.
The annual mandatory MDIT (Multidisciplinary Investigative Team) training will take place on Thursday, March 26, at WVU Tech, located at 410 Neville Street.
Doors open at 7:30 a.m., with sessions running through 5:00 p.m.
The training will cover topics including trauma and the brain, human trafficking prevention, and the role of the prosecuting attorney’s office.
Attendees can also earn LEU and CEU credits.
Organizers say free parking will be available on Alaska Avenue, and lunch will be provided by Just for Kids Advocacy Center.
