Beaver, WV (WOAY)—An e-commerce giant is establishing a local facility to better serve its consumers in southern West Virginia.
Amazon announced it’s launching its first delivery station in Raleigh County.
According to a statement from the company’s public relations spokesperson, the station will support the company’s efforts to provide fast delivery and excellent service to local customers.
Amazon is considering an area in Beaver on University Drive as its site for the station.
Construction is still in the early stages.
However, the company states that as it progresses to opening the facility, it is committed to working with local partners to keep the community notified of updates, hiring initiatives, and more.
