Oak Hill bans fireworks except for holidays

Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – As we get closer to the Fourth of July and fireworks tents start popping up, it is important to be mindful of local law governing fireworks.

The City of Oak Hill bans fireworks except for Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Any other use could result in a fine of up to $500.
