Beckley, WV (WOAY) The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office is offering the community an opportunity to Train With A Deputy.
Sgt. B.J. Adkins and Deputy Hashimura will lead the training course on Friday, June 12, at 3:00 pm at the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Soccer Complex to help those who may be interested in a career in law enforcement start their journey.
Participants will complete a practice physical fitness test, tour the sheriff’s office, get an opportunity to ask questions, and learn the responsibilities of a deputy sheriff.
The sheriff’s office encourages anyone interested to attend, even if law enforcement isn’t their career path, to meet with deputies and build stronger relationships within the community.
To join in, contact Sgt. B.J. Adkins at bjadkins@raleighcountysheriff.Com
