Beckley, WV (WOAY) The Rhododendron Festival is getting underway in Beckley with a full week of events.
Festivities kick off Saturday, May 9, at 11:00 a.m. with The Coffee, Tea, Sweet Treats and Preparedness Fair in downtown Beckley, featuring vendors, entertainment, and more.
The schedule also includes a painting class, nature walks, a pickleball tournament, and a photo contest throughout the week.
The festival continues on Saturday, May 16, with a car show on Main Street, complete with music and vendors.
The festival wraps up on Sunday, May 17, with a Grandview Rhododendron Walk starting at the Visitors’ Center at Grandview Main Overlook
Organizers encourage the community to come out and celebrate spring across the city.
