New River CTC offering real estate pre-license course at two locations this fall

Lewisburg, WV (WOAY)-This fall, New River Community and Technical College is giving future real estate professionals a chance to launch their careers with the 90-hour West Virginia Real Estate Pre-License course, offered at both the Greenbrier Valley and Mercer County campuses. 

The Mercer County Campus course begins Monday, August 18, meeting Monday through Wednesday evenings, with instruction from licensed real estate broker Joyce Barker. 

The Greenbrier Valley Campus course begins a week later, on Tuesday, August 26, and runs on Tuesday through Thursday evenings, taught by Tricia Hoover. 

This course prepares students to meet the educational requirements for the West Virginia Real Estate Licensing Exam, covering topics such as real estate law, finance, principles, and practice. 

The whole course costs $540, which includes the textbook.

Financial aid may be available through the HEAPS Workforce Grant. 

Seats are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
