Chilly Pattern Set to Continue; Snow Added To The Mix

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): A persistent northwest breeze will continue to drain colder temperatures into the region this weekend.

SHORT-TERM: The only patch of blue we will see is Friday between 4 p.m. and sunset and Saturday prior to 2 p.m. and then again after 4 p.m. Sunday. Expect off and on flurries and sprinkles through Friday morning. Saturday will be dry until 9 p.m.

LONG-TERM: Snow will develop across the entire region after 9 p.m. Saturday and end at 10 a.m. Sunday. Below are the expected snow amounts, with light accumulation expected on all paved surfaces as well. Monday and Tuesday will be dry and then a warm front will trigger snow and rain showers overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
