Oak Hill, WV (WOAY-TV): Low pressure producing showers will transition to a chilly weekend pattern followed by a hard frost.
BRIDGE DAY: Showers will end by 7 a.m. on Bridge Day. The cloud deck will rise and any fog in the New River Gorge will lift between 9-10 a.m. as the dry, northwest wind resumes.
The balance of Bridge Day will be partly cloudy and breezy with highs in the 50s. Clouds will increase in the evening with a shower or two after 8 p.m. Above 4,000 feet, expect snow flurries in northern Pocahontas County overnight into Sunday.
SUNDAY: A cloudy morning will transition to clearing skies at sunset. The northwest breeze will be sustained at 10 mph with gusts to 20 mph.
MONDAY INTO TUESDAY: A hard freeze will end the growing season Monday morning, so Frost Advisories and Freeze Warnings are expected. Cover flowers with a blanket or bring them inside to prevent cold weather damage. A frost is expected again Tuesday morning. Temperatures will warm above average on Tuesday afternoon.
WEDNESDAY INTO FRIDAY: High pressure pushing off the coast ahead of a Blue Norther, a significant Rockies cold front, will draw in very warm temperatures. Each morning expect fog.
