Beckley, WV (WOAY) A two-day workshop aimed at making local communities more bike-friendly is coming to Beckley.
Organizers are inviting residents to take part in the 2026 Bicycle Friendly Community Workshop, set for May 5 and 6 at the Black Knight Country Club.
The interactive event will evaluate how welcoming the area is for cyclists, identify strengths and challenges, and offer solutions to improve biking infrastructure and accessibility.
Participants will also take part in a bike ride audit, led by the Beckley Outdoors Coalition, to get a firsthand look at conditions across the community.
The workshop is free to attend, and lunch will be provided on the first day.
