Sissonville, WV (WOAY) – West Virginia’s busy summer of golf continues this week with the West Virginia Open beginning Wednesday at Edgewood Country Club in Sissonville.
Like many golf tournaments, there were multiple low scores from those who teed off in the morning, but several golfers who played in the afternoon session also found success on the course.
Defending champion David Bradshaw is one of three tied for the lead at -5 after 18 holes. The low amateur is Philip Reale of South Charleston, who is two shots behind at -3.
