Beckley, WV (WOAY) A free self-defense class is being offered next month in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
The class hosted by the YMCA of Southern West Virginia will be held on April 11 at 11:00 a.m.
Hope McNeely and Jay Milam will instruct the class, which is open to both YMCA members and non-members.
Participants will learn basic self-defense techniques, along with awareness skills and confidence-building strategies in a supportive environment.
Pre-registration is required.
