Summersville, WV (WOAY) While you’re at the West Virginia Bigfoot Festival this weekend, you can also help give back to veterans.
Backpacks 4 Veterans will be collecting donations at the red barn throughout the festival.
The organization is looking for items including toiletries, socks, gloves, beanies, hand warmers, flashlights, first-aid kits, nonperishable snacks, and other everyday essentials.
There will also be a fundraiser with a chance to win a sports package.
Organizers encourage festival-goers to stop by the red barn, donate, and help fill backpacks with supplies for veterans.
