Wyoming County Paw Patrol working to survive pandemic

WYOMING COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Paw Patrol is a non-profit group with a Wyoming County location that rescues dogs.

The pandemic has been hard on groups like these that are working to give dogs a safe living situation. The Wyoming County Commission is working to assist Paw Patrol’s efforts, including donating a van to replace the current on that is down.

“They’ve offered to give us a kennel to replace one of our kennels that’s, you know, not usable anymore,” said Paw Patrol President and Vice President Ronya Akers and Rebecca Stewart. “They’ve offered to fix the pound floor so the dogs no longer have to lay on concrete and get sores. And that way the Parvo and the other diseases are kept at a minimum up there.”
