WVU Tech celebrates 2020 graduates in special video

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – Due to concerns with the global COVID-19 pandemic, WVU Tech made the decision in late-March to cancel Commencement ceremonies originally planned for Saturday, May 9.

Graduating seniors will instead have the opportunity to walk in December 2020, May 2021, or both.

However, the university will be releasing a video celebrating the class of 2020. The video will be available to view and share on May 9 at wvutech.edu/commencement.

Those who wish to show their support for this year’s graduates can visit the site now to see student-generated content, apply a Facebook photo frame or find social media graphics to share on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn.
