Charleston, WV (WOAY) – WVU officials will be going on a field trip to the Capital City this week.
The 2026 WVU and WVU Extension Day at the Legislature will take place on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon at the West Virginia State Capitol Complex in Charleston.
The annual day showcases the University’s premier academic programs, resources, and events through engaging, interactive exhibits, and helps University officials make connections with legislators, staffers, and other visitors.
WVU Day also gives potential Mountaineers a chance to see what the University has to offer while learning how the Legislature works.
Included this year is a special exhibit celebrating the WVU PRT’s 50th anniversary.
The event is free and open to the public.
