Lewisburg, WV (WOAY) – Utility work is planned for Greenbrier County’s largest city.
According to a Facebook post from the City of Lewisburg, MonPower will be replacing power poles in the vicinity of Route 219 and Foster Street on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
MonPower will have a flagger at the intersection as the traffic light will not be operational.
City officials are asking motorists to expect delays if traveling in the area or to avoid the area if possible.
Foster Street from Route 219 to Lafayette Street will be closed to all traffic during this time.
