Monroe County, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia Department of Transportation is announcing a road closure in Monroe County.
According to a press release from the WVDOT, Wayside/Creamery Road (County Route 7, milepost 7.55) will be closed for road repairs. Crews will be doing a culvert replacement to repair damages from recent flooding. The road will be closed to through traffic from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
The public is asked use alternate routes around the work area. The project schedule may be impacted by weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
Drivers are being asked to be aware all traffic control signs and devices and to use caution when driving near the construction zone.
