Beckley, WV (WOAY) A world-renowned musician is bringing the sounds of classical Vienna to southern West Virginia.
Fortepianist Daniel Adam Maltz will perform on Friday, April 24, at the Raleigh Playhouse and Theatre at 3:00 p.m.
Maltz, who is based in Vienna, Austria, specializes in works by Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven, performed on the same style of instruments used during their time.
Critics have praised his performances for their precision, warmth, and dynamic style.
He performs more than 50 tour dates each year around the world and also hosts the podcast Classical Cake, which explores Viennese classical music and culture.
