Woodrow Wilson boys soccer wins season opener

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – Wednesday marked the first day of the regular season for high school soccer, volleyball, and cross country.

Woodrow Wilson boys soccer saw their opening-week match with Oak Hill taken off the schedule due to Fayette County being in the orange zone Saturday night, but the Flying Eagles were able to play PikeView Wednesday evening.

Beckley gained momentum throughout the first half and continued that momentum in the second half, winning 6-1. Kaleb Dunn scored a late goal for PikeView.
