Good evening, folks! It’s been another warm day across southern West Virginia, and temperatures are only going to rise from here! Tomorrow, highs will reach the low 60s, climbing to the upper 60s on Tuesday, and then even reaching the low 70s by midweek. This is well above average and near record warmth for this time of year.
Breezy to windy conditions are expected tonight into tomorrow, which will increase fire weather dangers through Tuesday. Along with the warmer temperatures this week, we’ll see rain chances increase toward the middle and end of the week. Wednesday brings the first chance of rain, and our next best opportunity will come over the weekend.
Expect clouds on Monday, with off-and-on cloudy skies continuing throughout the week. Stay tuned for further updates!
