Oak Hill, WV (WOAY)- The West Virginia State Police (WVSP) will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Oak Hill on Friday, December 6.
The checkpoint will be on State Route 16 between State Street and Ridgewood Avenue from 6:00 pm to midnight.
The purpose of the checkpoint is to deter impaired drivers and educate the public about the dangers of driving while under the influence.
WVSP urges the public to assist them in preventing drunk driving by reporting intoxicated and drug-impaired drivers to local authorities. Â
