Daniels, WV (WOAY)- The West Virginia State Police (WVSP) are investigating the cause of a fatal car crash.
According to a WVSP press release, Senior Trooper Wickline responded to a call on Sunday, April 14, around 9:30 am, reporting a three-car collision.
The accident took place at the 1800 block of Ritter Drive in Daniels.
Two victims, a married couple, 52-year-old Dewey Raynes and 49-year-old Melinda Raynes, were pronounced dead on the scene.
The drivers in two of the vehicles suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
A crash reconstruction team is assisting with the investigation, which is currently active and ongoing.
